Oblivion

This short film centers on the themes of aging, memory, loss, and grief. I use a combination of video and still photography to create work that reflects my personal experiences and explores the small moments of life that often go unnoticed. My fascination is with the elusive nature of memory and its inaccessibility as one grows older. Within my work I strive to visualize the transmutation of one's memory, and its effects on the self, that occur with the onset of illness and age.
